In keeping with my (intermittent) philosophy of finding new areas to expand my ability, I realised that my lens and camera combination give me a pretty good combination to go birding.
My trouble, of course, is that I don't have the time or the inclination to go out to the nature reserves with a book and camp out there, so it's unlikely that I'll get the chance to take many pictures of the prettier birds out there.
What I can do is photograph pigeons and mynahs around the neighbourhoods.
You know.
Flying rats.
yerwhat?
But, you know

the lens doesn't see what the eye sees.

It sees what the heart sees.

And what I see, ultimately, is simple.

I see beauty

everywhere.

And if you can see the world through that lens,

then even rats

can be glorious.
