Happy Mother's Day all you mothers out there!
I went to bed late last night, with two Benadryl. Holy crap does that stuff knock me out. I had planned to be up early to work on some school work before going out with my parents to celebrate mother's day. I couldn't wake up. I finally forced myself out of bed at 9am - almost unheard of for me - and into the shower.
We went to an out of the way classy place I didn't even know existed. There is a lot I don't know about this town. It was in a hotel (an old, old hotel) next door to Joshua Chamberlain's house. If you know anything about Gettysburg or ever read "The Killer Angels" you know about Maine's favorite son.
Prime rib and veggies. It has been a long time since I have had prime rib. It was fantastic.
It also put me in a food coma. Or back into a Benadryl coma. After finishing up catching up with the news shows, I attempted a nap. Didn't work. I am all out of synch now.
So I watched Law and Order (Marissa Sagemiller - ouch!) for a while, and worked on the case study assignment for the work when episodes I had already seen were on. Posted everything a few minutes ago. Now I wonder if I am going to sleep tonight.
High noon. This commercial is on fast rotation. The Charlize Theron looking blonde had me ready to swallow my tongue!
