Had 3 of the grands this weekend although their dad, my son, stayed at night. He works on Saturdays. DIL is a Girl Scout Leader and her troop sold enough cookies to take the troop to Branson for the weekend. Thus, Gma comes to the rescue. Daugther has a hair show this weekend, so she needed me to watch her son Sat night too. Weehaaa I'm tired. Since sister and BIL hadn't been out alone since they arrived back to the farm, their son stayed for a few hours too. It was all good.
Sadly my clothes dryer wouldn't dry today nor would the AC in the Tahoe cool. Happily I've found a Maytag electric dryer on Lowes.com, so will go there tomorrow after work and see it and most likely buy it. I'm going to have them deliver, hook up and then take the old one away. Will get an appointment for the Tahoe as soon as I can since it is a day to day thing on using AC and heater. It was 95 today. Last week we had 2 overnight freezes. Sheesch.
Got gravel laid along almost all of the front of the concrete porch and it looks pretty good. Have about 10ft left on the end but no hurry as there is gravel there, just not quite the same type.
Had grands to help me, sister helped and a lot was accomplished but it took all Sat afternoon. We shoveled the washed in ditches of white gravel and sand. Since it will only wash into the field next big rain, OR stop of the tinwhistle across the road, figured I may as well recycle some of my tax money.
