So I know I previously said that I would go see Ekskursante this week but there is nothing better next week (and it was during a bad time, well not bad but just not good) so today I saw Transcendence. Yes, I know, I swear there was nothing better and after all the bad reviews I kind of got interested into it in a "maybe this will be so bad it's good" but it wasn't it was just boring and confused.

The movie I'm now waiting for is X-men: Days of Future Past. Saw the trailer for it before the movie began thought not for the first time and I'm really getting excited for it. Seems it might be good.

Tomorrow I'll finish reading Peter the Great. Some time this week I'll finish reading The Shining, have only 12 chapters left. Today I just realized I have no idea what I'll read after that (fiction, that is). I decided not to think about and pick something at random when the time comes. Not making any plans at the moment.

And now for what I really wanted to talk about - Eurovision. Right off the bat I'd like to say that my biggest disappointment is that Belgium did not get in. They had such a beautiful song and I was sure it would have a great reception. I guess youtube view numbers should have alerted me or been more a red flag. But nuts to that it's still my #2 song this year.

Moving on. By now everyone and their mother has heard that Armenia will supposedly win. I must say the performance left me disappointed though I still like the song. What did surprise me was Russia. After watching the video I was meh about the song but watching the performance turned my mind about it. Which is why you can't judge the songs until seeing them live. I still won't include it among my favourites but it definitely deserves to be in the finals. My only surprises about the finals were Iceland and Netherland because those songs were meh.
