Look At Me in Thoughts

If you look at me you will see. I am strong, happy and I am putting one foot in front of the other. Taking one brief step at a time. If you look beyond the mask, truly look and you will see. You will see that I hide my broken heart. That it's shattered like glass all around me. You will see that my eyes are dark as the night sky. You will see that they are puff from all the tears I have cried. You will see that my mind and heart are at war. That the other half of me is gone. If you truly look at me, behind the mask you will see. The real me.
