So we're nearing the end of The Shining and I got to say I'm getting bored with the book at this point. I think the best parts were the character back-stories and their interaction with one another. The actiony scenes are not that interesting but then again I never could quite visualize them so maybe it's just me.

So yesterday was the second semi-final of Eurovision and this time all my favourites got in. And I also added Slovenia's song to my favourites.

So surprising myself I finished reading The Shining today. It got more interesting to the end. What we discovered was that Danny's middle name was Anthony and I guess that means Tony was himself or a like a part of him but I don't know they were rather vague about it. And it never explained who or what was this Manager and just what was behind the whole Overlook hotel. That sort of vagueness in horror can be frightening but also annoying. Frustrated.

Might watch the movie now. Maybe. Some time.

Anyway I went through my e-library looking for my newest book to read and my mind just gravitated towards Robert Harris even though I thought his Fatherland was meh (though it was his first) so I decided I would read The Ghost. I initially was interested in Imperium but then I learned the last book in the trilogy is not out yet so... I don't know I have this distaste, how to put it, reading/watching the unfinished work and I'd rather wait for the finished to take it all in at once. I don't know it's hard to explain.
