Luxury for my bum... in Hot town, summery in the city - 2017

We’ve lived in our house for 17 years and I cannot tell you how many toilet seats we have got through in that time. I mean, it’s ridiculous that so many toilet seats should be needed!

Anyway, the toilet seat hinge snapped a few weeks ago so I was on the hunt again.

Did you know you can buy solid mahogany bog seats for £140. I think I’d add some gold leaf as well if I could afford that price 🤣🤣

Yes, I spent quite a while reviewing seats for the Morning Throne. I’ve always spent £15-20 on them from Argos or somewhere similar but I just wanted something better.

I spent £40 on a bog seat and, while it may not be a solid mahogany (with optional gold leaf) seat, it’s really, bloody nice, comfy and the difference in quality is tangible.
