Now the waiting begins. I have FAXed the cost estimate for the elevation of my house to the NJDEP in the hope I will be approved for a Grant of $ 129,040.00 to raise my home here on the Jersey Shore. I believe that I have completed all the requirements and now I wi9ll wait. I am on a Waiting List for funding and the money has not been awarded to the State or to me. This is slightly more that 18 months since Sandy, the Storm.
In a disaster lark this all the Politicians are quick to stand in front of the cameras and promise but then the delivery becomes very slow. Others here on this venue also share the wait, just ask Spilled Perfume.
