Weekend happenings in Daily life

Friday night I met a friend for dinner and then we did some walking around town and looking into shops. It has been a long time since either of us have done that thanks to Covid. Town wasn’t real crowded and a lot of people were eating outside, very few masks altho the shops still required you to wear them.
Yesterday my daughter and I did a benefit bike ride for Down’s syndrome. We rode close to 10 miles and I can’t believe I am not stiff and sore. I was pretty tired last night but that was it. The trail was along the river so we saw some people fishing and tubing. It was a nice day.
Had chemo Wednesday and not too bad. This week is the double chemo so we shall see how that one goes.
My hair is really coming out. I can see my scalp. I had hoped by getting my hair cut short I wouldn’t see so much coming out or feel it on my arms and find strands everywhere but I am so I will wear a hat today when I work because I don’t want the residents to find hair in their food, that would not be too good😁😁.

I'm glad you are feeling good. We went maskless at the grocery store today. I felt rebellious. LOL!

I bet you will look adorable wearing a hat. I mailed my sister Kim some hats and when she received the package she brought it with her to chemotherapy and opened it up there. Mostly women she was with and they all loved the hats.

There are so many different types of hats and I love hats! I went through a period of wearing and buying hats. I bought what I called was a Stevie Nicks hat and I wore it to a Fleetwood Mac Concert.
