Jesus has a great reward for those pastors
who really love the sheep
who are willing to give their lives for them
who want to feed them
and care for them
who work because of Christ’s calling
and not because it’s a job with a paycheck
who are not all about preserving their empire
and their hierarchy
and their power and control
who are willing that Christ should have the control— and not himself
who don’t feel threatened
or jealous
or frustrated
at what God is doing in the sheep
who encourage the sheep to be use their gifts
and be free in Christ
and obey the Holy Spirit
who love the little sheep like a father loves his own child
