Has anyone been in a car accident and sued?!? Each year just keeps getting better and better. I was served a letter for the people suing me just shy of 6 days from 2 years since the accident. My insurance company has said that they have been waiting since the accident for medical proof for their claims and they never submitted anything. Now that they waited last minute they presented this lawsuit to lengthen it even longer.
They wrote this whole letter about seeking medical damages and how she lost income blah blah. Even though....I found a comment on facebook about someone asking her if she was working (it was a month after the accident) and she stated in a comment that she was just leaving her job blah blah.
I was just wondering if anyone has had it go to court. Have you had to pay anything? We have insurance coverage. I guess they are trying to seek out the whole coverage and my insurance feels she doesnt need that much. She posts on facebook all these trips she has gone too since the accident yet claims that her life has changed. I think someone ran out of vacation money a little sooner!
An accident is an accident. I hate people for real. If they were really hurting for money why did you wait last minute to draw it out? Why didnt you submit the paperwork that my insurance asked for numerous times.
