Worried in Daily life

Saw the hematologist yesterday and he was very reassuring that a bone marrow biopsy was not needed at this time. He had the lab report from when I was in the hospital and it was negative for leukemia and lymphoma. I had to get another blood test today for surgery and I just got a call from his office that my white blood cells are now higher than when I was on the hospital so he has decided to do a bone marrow biopsy Tuesday morning. The momentary relief I felt yesterday has disappeared. I am really worried now.
