Sick for 2 weeks in Life in General

After my second covid vaccine does I got horribly sick for like 4 days. 101 fever for a couple of them and just a general funk for the rest of it. I finally start feeling like myself again and then BAM, here comes a cold. It feels like I’m finally starting to get over it but it feels like I’ve been sick for 2 weeks straight hehe.

In other news, work has been finally picking up again! I’ve got some good prospects and that’s great because I’m super super over being poor hehe.

In other news, Jessica finally finished her third year of pharmacy school. Only one more to go! And this final year is all clinicals so she doesn’t really have any classroom stuff to do anymore. It sucks though because she has to be gone from the house all day and I feel like I’ve gotten a bit codependent on her being here. We usually just do our own thing most of the day but it’s just nice knowing that while I’m in the office working, she’s out in the living room either studying or watching TV (usually both hehe). So when the house is completely empty I’m just kinda sad as hell.

It used to not be a problem back in the day because I lived in my hometown and could call someone for lunch or go to my favorite coffee shop and chit chat with people I knew there. But now that I live in a town that feels completely foreign to me… yeah it’s lonely as heck.

But that’s why I’ve put so much energy into tiktok lately hehe. Currently at 470K+ followers! Feels crazy to think I’ve got a number that high. Definitely dealing with some imposter syndrome shit because I see plenty of more talented creators on the platform with just a small fraction of my following. I guess I’m just pretty lucky!
