Kayla and Timmy are home from college. We went to pick them up last week, right before Thanksgiving. They are basically the same kids that I have known since they were born. They are more independent and self-motivated. They are finishing up their classes for this semester online, and then will have finals. For the first week that they were home they basically stayed around here, since they were coming from out of town and out of state college. In the past few days they have been going out with friends. We have talked about wearing masks and social distancing.

Aaron is still going to in person school. Indoor track has been delayed until January. He has been participating in an online chess club after school. He is glad to see the twins again, especially Timmy. They have been hanging out together. The martial arts studios are still open. He has been going to classes.

For Thanksgiving we met outdoors for a few minutes at my stepsister’s place. When we got home we had dinner. We had a small turkey, mashed potatoes, broccoli, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls. Nothing too elaborate but it was nice. Also, pumpkin pie.

We don’t have any real plans for the weekend. Timmy and Kayla will likely go out with friends. Otherwise we will probably watch some Christmas movies. We are in the process of decorating for Christmas. My dad said that we should decorate since we will be home more to see it this year. I though that was a good point.

I am done shopping for the kids. I still have a few more gifts to order for some other relatives.
