Today we make history, again. The first woman vice president will be officially elected to office by the Electoral College. Oh and then there is that little matter of objecting by some GOP senators to the entire election.
Before I go off on my rant, let me first say, America with all its faults is still the greatest nation in the world and I will gladly stand up and defend our rights. My whole problem with this election is Trump making unfounded, blatant statements that he won the election and the Democrats stole it.
As in any court of law, one must provide solid evidence of the crime. Bolding declaring I was robbed does nothing unless you can present proof of the robbery. Not one court in the country, including the Supreme Court, has found any evidence of voter fraud on the scale Trump claims.
Yes, the Democratic party did a lot of sorry acts during this last Administration, but should we be surprised? There is a great divide in our country. If the average American would wake up and vote out all of the elected officials who have been in office 8 years or longer and instead vote in the average working American things might change.
But those dang Democrats keep dangling that $2000 carrot in front of our faces and we reach for it without realizing that stick is going to slap us somewhere down the road.
To sum up this little rant, if the election was stolen we have far more problems at hand. It would mean that people on both sides of the aisle know it and are hiding facts. But here is the clincher. With no proof, you can’t expect Congress to overthrow an election. That in and of its self would truly mark the end of our great democracy. Like it or not, we can’t afford to overturn this election.

This is one of the saddest days in history.
