Why was I ever still using LJ ?
Did anybody else migrate from there?
Don’t get me wrong - i miss all of my LJ friends but it appears as though LJ users made the unspoken agreement to simultaneously leave that place.
I saw the creepiest movie last night called Baskin (2015). I LOVE CREEPY HORROR FILMS! I kept reading that it was a mix between ‘Hellraiser’ and ‘Martyrs’
I honestly didn’t think it was as creepy as either of those. It has some gore, definitely.
** (SPOILER ALERT: the film shows intestines being removed through abdominal stitches, and eyes being scooped out with a knife; the latter being the most intolerable to watch for me)*
I love films that ‘take you for a ride’ and bring you into this dreamy fog that suspends your disbelief. It’s like you’re falling in this unreality with the characters. That’s kinda what this movie felt like. Also, i would describe it as a ‘Shining’ light mixed with ‘Silent Hill.’
My friend Pat recommended it to me and kept warning me to ‘turn it off’ before it gets too scary. I’m like ‘ Dont be a pussy. I’ll let you know when I’m done.”
“Don’t let your subconscious absorb all that gory shit.”

Then of course that night I had a nightmare about a ritualistic human sacrifice in my front yard. lol.
