Wow. Noelle is a year old. A YEAR OLD. Her birthday was yesterday, and she is now up and about and discovering the joys of walking!

Covid has put my enire area now under tier 3, which if I am honest is no real surprise… with the rates what they were in nearby areas that were tier 2 after lockdown (and I cannot see why those areas didn’t go tier 3) it is no great shock or surprise. So, basically, sit tight and wait for a nationwide new year lockdown.

Noelle’s birthday was yesterday, we couldn’t do a great deal because of Covid restrictions, but that’s fine. I think she is still too young to understand it all but it was nice to have her get some presents. This time next year she’ll be a sister and there will be two young Christmases to sort out!

I haven’t really got much to say, after all with Tom working from home, Noelle walking and saying the occasional word, and me trying to keep the Christmas tree as Noelle-proof as possible, one day is pretty much the same as the others now.

Was hoping to meet up with my friends and have a Christmas lunch out but we decided that wherever we went would be quite busy and it wouldn’t be worth the risk of exposing ourselves to Covid.

A very merry CHristmas to you all and a safe New Year!

Hugs from Maizee, Tom, Noelle and peanut #2!
