Good Friday Flotsam and Jetsam in General

It's good Friday. Considering it commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus, I think it might be a little mislabeled. I'm not religious, haven't been to church in years. but I know which side my bread is buttered and realize I am culturally Christian. It is with some relief I was told the family isn't doing anything for Easter. I briefly considered heading to the south launch at dawn on Sunday, then realized I won't hear my alarm.

So. Happy Easter to those observant. Happy candy day to the not so observant.

House: Netflix now has the entirety of House MD available. Finally I can catch up on those episodes I never saw, especially the first half of the last season.

Vikings: Oh yay! Now we get Cwenthryth - the vegetarian, not particularly attractive, oversexed, snotty acting princess of Mercia. Can someone kill her before she jumps Ragnar - or more likely Bjorn?

Trip to the Mothership: I planned to make the drive to Manchester this morning. Bad planning. On class nights i am usually too wired to get to sleep at a reasonable hour, so I overslept my launch time of 0800. By an hour. By the time I finished my coffee and changed it was 1030.

I hit the road and immediately gave up.

Holiday weekend Friday in Maine when the weather isn't bad = every swinging dick and split tail with access to a vehicle has jumped in said vehicle and hit the road. I lost interest in spending four hours on the road to spend $250 for another textbook. especially since what I owe by Sunday night is in the book I already have. Next week is another question.

MS Project: One of the ongoing projects in class is done in Project. I spend hours trying to figure that thing out, but luckily we have Google. I just ask questions in plain English and usually get the answer. I am to the point where for now the only issue for Sunday's deliverables is pumping the information into the project and making PDFs.

Kill the Mood:

Someone linked this to me on FacePlant. I couldn't share it there for obvious reasons, but holy mackerel did I laugh at the stupidity of people and their stupid-phones:
