While I was at the Easter gathering Sunday I took the opportunity to brief both of my sons on my new tenant. To say that it was met with disapproval would be the mildest of understatements. The most discouraging was my son Robert who tends to act as my father. To him this went over like a lead balloon or a flatus in an elevator would be just about on target. The foolishness of a 78 year old man hosting a 39 year old woman in his house was the point he made repeatedly. It did not assuage his ire when I said I was going to put a lock on my door. My older boy did not react as strongly and kept his feelings to himself. The move will take place this Saturday afternoon. I am already planning to needle a little bit on my straight laced sons by dropping a hint that Athena is deathly afraid od Thunder and Lightning storms and see just how I can horrify them.
