December is here again - it’s coming to the end of a very strange year (a year I will summarise at the end of the month in a traditiona year end entry).
Amazon has been a godsend for the presents… saves me going out looking, and I don’t really want to spend too much time hanging around in shops right now, even though Covid cases are starting to fall again.
I’ve also got to arrange birthday shopping, as Noelle’s first birthday is coming up two days before Christmas. I’ve also got to make sure that the tree in the house will be Noelle-proof too… I have visions of her pulling it over many times over!
On the Noelle front… she stood up by herself this week for the first time, without holding on to anything! It was a but unsteady, but she made it, and there was a few seconds and suddenly it was like “Ooh, gravity!” and down she went again, bless her!
Covid restrictions will be lifted for 5 days over Christmas, which will lead to mayhem, I’m sure of it. Because of bubbles and so on, and where I live we’re restricted quite heavily at present, so we will look at the Christmas window to take Noelle and visit Tom’s parents for the day - probably Boxing Day.
And then, a month after, I’ll be 24… shit… already?? It doesn’t seem that long ago when I went off to uni as a naive 18 year old!!
Hope everyone is keeping safe, and that we can all get through this soon.
Maizee, Tom and Noelle xxx
