it is exactly 2 months from my wedding today...getting closer!
saturday was my bachelorette party. it was AWESOME! i got much drunker than i wished to and woke up still drunk the next day, but it was a blast.
there were 6 of us ladies: myself, my best friend/maid of honor, my 2 sisters, and 2 of my friends. we went to sing sing karaoke with some burritos (they let you bring your own food!) had some drinks, had some crazy fun singing and dancing, then headed down town to a dueling pianos bar called shake, rattle and roll. super fun! there was a bachelor party next to us, so we ended up hanging out with them for most of the night and this is where the night get fuzzy. the cool thing about the bar was it was an all request show. you wrote it down, gave them a few bucks, if they knew it/liked it, they sang it. you could veto a song by handing in a suggestion with more money. apparently i was trying to play the piano and told every i was dressed up as elton john (because i was) and it was a good time. i couldnt have wished for anything better! i guess the bachelor party was getting a little handsy (sp) and my bestie had to put an end to the party. just glad it was a fun night! dann and i decided to not tell each other about our parties. we are going to let it go and trust each other that things were basically appropriate. so far, so good! i know hed be a little sad about me grinding with those guys from indiana, but it was my party and im sure hes gonna touch a stripper, so whats the difference!
my dress fitting was yesterday. we finalized the food and cake on thursday. OMG MY CAKE IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!! it will be covered in music notes!!!! i am over the moon about my cake! 3 tiers, white cake, vanilla custard, light airy buttercream frosting (so good! i usually hate buttercream frosting) and the music notes with a plum ribbon and other plum accents. so excited!!
im getting annoyed with my family about who needs to sit with who. fuck you. ill put you where i please and youll deal for the night. i didnt want to do a seating arrangement in the first place, but ive been told i have to because of all of these issues people have with each other. sigh i guess adults cant be adults...oh well! i get the place cards for free, so i might as well use them!
alright i gotta get ready for bed. back to work in the morning! gotta get these songs taught/finished/perfected for my upcoming concert. later!
