Last weekend I drove down to visit my Grandson Joey at his college in .Maryland. I left out at 98:30 AM and arrived at 12:30 PM. It was a simple drive without too much in the way of traffic except when leaving Delaware and entering Maryland. Even that did not last more than 3-4 miles. I had been staring in touch with Joey and as I entered the University Complex both he and his GF were sitting on a curb waiting for me.
It was lunchtime and we all were hungry so we drove to Baltimore and it's tourist are at the Inner Harbor. We saw a large crowd gathered there and go to view some of the Street Entertainers before, after and during lunch.
Joey's GF was very nice but a little shy. Her name is Julia and she reminded me of my Granddaughter, Katie in stature and overall appearance. By the time lunch was finished she had lost her shyness.
After lunch we drove back to the school, and I took the tour but had to abbreviate it a bit as my knee started to protest. In the vicinity of 6 PM I departed for home and traffic northbound was even lighter. It had been an day of great warm and sunny weather and the drive home was uneventful.
Other than that nothing else seems to be happening of interest. will going to my Son Tommie's house for Easter dinner and hope that the weather will be nice.
