Tonight I hope to make my regular Friday Night Big Book AA Meeting. Hopefully Doris will be there but she had had a bad week. Her Brother in Law died and she had been to a Wake and today the Funeral. She is part of a close knit family.
My new tenant to be, , Athena, received quite a shock yesterday when she opened the newspaper to see a photo of her soon to be ex husband being booked for soliciting prostitution at a local motel. Athena was very upset at this and may even be moving in at an accelerated pace. Just what she needed to validate her decision to leave him but she certainly did not need the public humiliation of the newspaper story.
I am driving down to my Grandson Joey's college tomorrow. I an excited to see him; the college and his girlfriend. It is 3 1/2 hours each way but I will drive back late rather than staying over.
Last night I picked up my new suit. I had certain alterations done and they goofed on two of the alterations.. I ordered plain bottoms and the pants were cuffed and I also wanted suspender buttons added and they weren't. The store did correct the situation immediately.
