Both the Men and the Women of the University of Connecticut won their respective tournaments and became National Champions. I thoroughly liked the Woman's final game last night as they demolished Notre Dame another team with a perfect record up to the final whistle. I think that another unit of measurement could be added to the arsenal of tools used bun people who like to compare the gap between men and women in this country. I wonder how much money was wagered on the Men's brackets and how much on the Women's brackets. I have not received any calls from my Primary Physician with test results and that means that no clots have been found in my leg or knee. When she does get the results then we will talk and determine what treatment is in order if any. The Doctor was the first person to give me a warning about what pain killers I can take. She wants to vet any I take because of their strong blood thinner, Eliquis, I am taking because almost all of them also work as blood thinners and that is not recommended. Tylenol is recommended. Up to here was written yesterday but I forgot to post. This morning I went to an Eye Doctor to see about cataract removal. The Doctor did a very thorough examination and said that there is no pressing need to have the surgery done now though it might happen in the future. I certainly agreed with that as any surgery has it's own inherent dangers. I was talking with the Town's Mayor today about things in general. She is on the verge of becoming optimistic with the recovery of the town. This is actually funny as today the roof of the condemned Firehouse collapsed.
