how do you change your life in 4 months? in JOURNAL

i watched a youtube video yesterday saying that she only produced productivity videos because it made her a lot more productive. and so i had an idea! i decided to make a commitment to post my journal entries to a community, in this way, i can feel a lot more accountable with my actions. and then i found this site!!!!! i am so excited!!!!!

i have been trying to change my life since the quarantine started but i haven’t gotten anywhere. oftentimes i feel overwhelmed because i try to incorporate new habits into my life all at the same time. my headspace is buzzing with all these new ideas and principles and guides and yet i still find myself in the same place. so i have decided to finally take things slow. i came across this principle, the 21/90 principle that states that a habit is formed in 21 days and it becomes a part of a lifestyle if you continiuusly do it for 90 days. it’s something i need to rememeber AND! take action on.

anyways, tomorrow will be a new start for me. how many times have i used “back to square one” this quarantine? i’ve lost count. but tomorrow is day one.

sometimes i just really feel pathetic, trying to change my life in the middle of a pandemic. but there’s no harm trying to have a better life, right? quite ironic trying to live better when people are dying. sometimes i feel terrible having all these privileges and having the power to choose.
