We decided to take an extra week to get home we are having so much fun. I played tennis with a girl who lived near Portland. Couldn’t remember the name of the town but looked a map of the area and decided it was Falmouth. I looked in a local phone book and saw her name. Yes they have phone books on line believe it or not.

I called the number last night and got her mom. Told her I played tennis with Becky
was in the area. Her mom went on and on about how much she loved all the girls on the team and if I still had red hair, and if I was married and how was my dad. This is the same woman who said about 7 words to me the whole time I played with her daughter. It seems the virus has made every one so lonely that as soon as you say hi they go on a 20 minute rant. Her daughter Becky was in the area and she gave me her #. I called about 5 minutes later and she had already spoken to her mom and couldn’t wait to see me. So we have made plans to stop in Falmouth on Saturday. After that its a crap shoot.

So many people think teachers are so lucky as we have the entire summer off. If you are a teacher you will understand when I say I get about 2 weeks off. I do the Bible camp with my mom, a 2 week summer camp at the hs, a softball camp, tennis camp and have to get Captains practice ready for my tennis team. This is the first time since I was in college that I actually have some free time during the summer. And as Steve always brings up I am so overpaid durithe summer as I probably make about a buck an hour when you figure what I make and all the time I put into it. And when you figure the things I purchase for the camps it probably costs me money when all is said and done.

Have my list of 10 fantasies for Steve. Will write them out too. FO entry. Along with a lot of pictures

My dad, the retired teacher, used to always say that teachers are paid for about 9 months of work - but it's just spread out over the 12 months of the year.
