Woke early this AM to make a bathroom run. Decided to just stay up since the ham n beans we had yesterday was very busy cleaning out my system. :( We had an unplanned or last minute planned family get together yesterday afternoon and my daughter and DIL provided most of the food. Daughter called me a bit after noon and was craving ham n beans but wanted help eating it. She also wanted to bake a couple of pies so who am I to knock that urge? I told her I'd cook the ham n beans down here and she could bake the pies at her house. She text DIL and she and the kids were returning from a weekend trip to visit her grandma and attend a baby shower in grandma's town and she was bringing leftover coleslaw and baked beans from the baby shower. Soooo we had the fixins for a complete meal and enough for the entire bunch.
Dude had arrived late yesterday AM and spread grass seed, fertilizer, and lime on my yard with my dad supervising. Then they headed to dad's yard where Dude used the tractor to do the same to dad's yard. Much to my surprise Dude then brought the tractor with the blade and worked on daughter's driveway so it was a busy day but very productive.
I finished my latest project of sewing fabric Easter eggs and also made two bunnies. They are sitting in the basket and the bunnies were a little more work than I intended, but these kind of free hand projects always end up a bit more demanding that I imagine.
I guess it is a good thing that I stayed up this AM as my alarm clock still hasn't gone off and should have by now. God takes care of me in spite of me. Isn't that just wonderful? Yep, it is.
