If you watch nothing else, fast forward to about 6:45 and watch for a minute or so. I promise it’ll be worth your while.

I am three weeks and one day post-op from a mommy makeover which includes a tummy tuck, liposuction, fat transfer, breast lift, and breast augmentation. In this video, I discuss the shower victory I had being able to shower without assistance for the first time post surgery, And I go through some of my clothing from pre-surgery and see how it fits now.

Lol. I didn't know what else to do. Haha. Hopefully I got it all. Lord knows I don't want to be kicked off YouTube for indecency!

Just now catching up in your videos. I laughed at your accidental nudity. Haha!

While I'm finding your surgery stuff very interesting, I keep meaning to ask you... What did you do to your hair (products, etc) to go from damaged, wavy, frizzy hair to curly hair? My hair was ringlet curly from birth to high school when I started straightening it all the time. Now that I stay home, I never do my hair and it's just a wavy, frizzy, dry mess. I used to wash it every day because my scalp was so oily. Now I'm to every other day washing, but I'd rather it just be curly and to be able to go with it. Seeing it up in your little cap thing made me remember to ask!

I will make a video about this, but the main thing is moisture. So much moisture in your hair. Curls need moisture to act right. You are probably using a very harsh shampoo that is stripping all of the oil out of your hair and making your oil glands work double time. there is a method called the curly girl method that is pretty useful for beginners. I basically got to skip the first steps because I quit using products that had silicone, or "cones", in generale, many years ago. The first thing that you probably need to do is do a clarifying step which will involve buying some VO5 silicone free shampoo and washing with that a couple times. And then try to go as long as you can between washing. I easily can do a week. You can still wet your hair, every single day if you want to, but I try to only wet mine every couple of days. And every time I wet it, I apply more conditioner. The lightweight conditioner I use is a Deva curl one. But I also really like the shea moisture manuka oil and honey conditioner. Every time I wash my hair, I use the shea moisture manuco oil and honey hair mask, I think is what it's called or deep conditioning, or something like that. It is basically like putting Crisco in my hair, consistency wise. But I put that in my hair, I use a special hair brush to brush it all through, and then I let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes or so and then I sort of rinse it out. I put curl cream in my hair, and then I put hair gel in while my hair is sopping wet. When I first started wearing my hair curly, I was so embarrassed at how bad my curls looked. They were so dry and crispy and frizzy and did not form ringlets. It was sucky. But as you can see, now my hair is way way better. It probably took about 3 months for it to start acting somewhat right. Lol. And the key is to moisturize the crap out of it. to refresh my hair, like say that my curls are looking less than stellar in the morning, I basically have what's called a continuous spray bottle and it's like half hair conditioner, half water, and I spray that on my hair, scrunch my curls, and that's that. I use high-end products, but you do not have to. I'll have to look for the link for some products you can pick up the at the drugstore for pretty cheap. I also got super lucky and found the deep conditioner that I use once a week at Walmart for like $3 a container. And then I found the deva curl conditioner for something ridiculous like $15 for a massive bottle. I am positive it was not priced correctly, but I bought the entire stock. Lol. Which was only like three or four bottles, but still. As far as shampoo, I think right now I have Avalon organics lavender something or another. I think I paid less than $10 for a giant size bottle of it from t.j Maxx. The ticket is that it's not harsh on my hair, it doesn't have any silicone or dimethicone or any of that crap in it. That's probably a good starting point for you, it's clarifying wash, dealing with it being greasy for maybe two weeks, and then spreading out how often you're washing it, plus adding in conditioner. I know putting in the conditioner seems counterintuitive since your hair is already greasy, but most people have greasy hair because they are stripping all the oils out.
