Yesterday did not “cool off” to 106. It was 111 degrees again. And last evening just at dusk one of those wind/thunder/rain/dust desert storms came ripping through. It even knocked out the power for a few minutes. We live on the outskirts of a county with 4.4 million people that is powered by the largest nuclear power plant in the US and the wind can still knock the power out.

Guitar lessons have started. Name of strings: Easter Bunnies Get Dizzy At Easter. E,B,G,D,A, and E.

Watching the Space-X launch yesterday while the US was in chaos took me back more than fifty years watching the Apollo missions on the black and white TV. Nixon had barricaded himself in the White House behind a barricade of buses, scared shitless.

104,000 dead, 4 trillion added to the national debt, 40 million unemployed, and Drumpf is in a little-boy argument with Twatter. And people still believe everything is going to be peachy keen someday soon.

I’ve just had my weekly shower, my “one load a month” is in the washer and the Dragon capsule (Endeavor) has successfully docked with the ISS.

And everything looks calm outside my window.
