Kayla and Timmy are having quite a week. They turned eighteen on Monday. On Tuesday, they had the AP Calculus AB exam. On Wednesday, they had the AP English Literature and Composition Exam. They also had virtual school. This weekend there are some (socially distanced) events for seniors at the high school.

Aaron has plans with some friends tomorrow to virtually watch the new Scoob movie. He has been doing his schoolwork and most days he goes running.

The kids were very sweet to me on Mother’s Day. Can I still call Timmy and Kayla kids? They will always be my babies! They made me an omelette and Shirley Temple for breakfast. I was really impressed. They will definitely have some cooking skills when they go out in their own.

We are definitely having some issues with family. Suffice it to say my husband and I have some relatives who never take responsibility for anything. In fairness some of them are older and I know the quarantine situation has been hard on them. Still, to make up an example, they would think they are entitled to front row seats to their favorite event, and if they don’t get them, it’s someone else’s fault. I try not to dwell on it too much because it’s a waste of time.

Well, we are off to tonight’s event.
