I couldn’t join the zoom meeting to see my daughter’s foster children adopted. Just now. I downloaded the site. Used my password. It recognized me and then when I entered the court password to join I was not accepted and the reason given was that the password was illegal. That’s odd, wouldn’t you say? Tried a different way and there was a rupture with what safari could do and not do from the rejection note I read.
Well, I want to focus now on the love and appreciation I’ll be sharing with these two boys in the years to come. It’s still a great occasion. The adoption is still a generous gesture by the new parents of Daniel and Damion, my daughter and son-in-law. I hope to see them soon.

What a joy-filled day! I'm sorry you couldn't get into the video stream of the ceremony, but I hope warm hugs and a little extra celebrating are in your near future.

Well, since I am a few weeks from being 79, and have a history of my lungs being reactive I'm isolating. If they lived with me they'd be here but...none do. My daughter picks up groceries for me that I can't get online. I do venture out recently to the doctor's and to pick up meds...otherwise the guidelines here are to try to wear a mask if you go out, try to stay 6' away from people...and be aware of the slowly opening business' limitations in communities. Schools are closed for the year. My daughter stands far away from me on the front lawn and we chat when she's here, which is less that weekly. My son works all the time with the public so we just talk on the phone. My older daughter lives in TX, so is far away. I sent her an offer for a plane trip here just before the isolation period. When it's over and her work allows, she'll fly here for a week. So...it's just me. 24/7, for weeks on end. Pretty pleased that I haven't gone bats yet.

I am sure they recorded it if that was allowed legally. One of my students had similar issues getting Zoom to work for her this week and we were able to work through it so hopefully you can video chat or watch things in the future. Congrats to all!

It wasn't allowed to record it but there is a chance that at the court house they can arrange for a copy. If not, I'm not in the least annoyed. Was frustrated but I'm a grown up. Nothing new in that. I got a fabulous picture that I posted on FB just now. Hope you can view it there. Thanks for your support.
