Crossovers... in Dreams

Last night’s dream was a little bit weird, as far as the pieces in my conscious mind that it drew from. At one point, I was back in Texas, current age, at my mom’s mom’s house, in the back yard, talking over the fence to SJ (elderly neighbor’s son) who looked like he was younger than me. I hadn’t seen him in several years even before I moved here. But I recognized him immediately. He made the offer to “come have pizza right now”. The invite for pizza with them doesn’t seem unusual at all. My neighbors and their son were always very welcoming. The part that caught me off guard was the “right now”. Struck me weird even in the dream. Ya know, whole internal monologue and all. I politely declined.
I was then driving around here, somewhere back in the woods, but I’m not sure exactly where. I think it was somewhere around the foothills. I ended up at this small log cabin with some brunette I didn’t completely recognize, and we snuggled up on the couch. Must have been closer to summer as we were both already wearing shorts. You won’t get the refernece, but I remember thinking something like she looked like Vala Mal Doran from Stargate SG-1, or maybe she was, I’m not sure. I never really got a good look at her face. She could also have been Adria. It was a little romantic, which, considering my trust issues, made me think it might be someone I do actually know. A friend of mine and AM’s, MP. MP is a short, twiggy, brunette with sky blue eyes and “well endowed”, though she tried to hide it, when I knew her. I only suspect it may have been MP because we were facing each other while we were snuggled up, and the girl in my dream felt how I remember MP feeling when I hugged her. It would make sense considering I saw AM the other night.
Like I’ve said before, I don’t claim to understand the way in which my subconscious mind works.

I am also finding that blogging my dreams helps me to work out what they mean and make sense of them a little more easily.
