So, as far as my life goes lately, this week has been a roller coaster! I asked Mr Smile (the guy i like) to go to my friends wedding with me. He said that he would go. I stressed so much over going out with him that i didn't sleep for like three days. Before you think I'm a total dork, let me fill you in a little.
So, I broke up with my ex roughly a year and a half ago. About that time I also noticed Mr Smile. I figured it was too soon to think about dating, so I just left it as an eye candy thing. Anyway, My al-anon sponsor kept pushing me to date someone or at least go out. Finally I asked him if he wanted to get our kids together and he said yes. Well, it took me until now to get him alone.
So, yeah, I was nervous. We had a lot of fun though. We went to my friend's wedding reception. We had a couple of beers and talked. I laughed a lot. I mean A LOT! It was fun! He has a really good sense of humor to go with his good looks. It was good to get to spend time with him when we didnt have to be running after the kids. I found out a lot of new stuff about him.
I also worked a lot this weekend. It was busy! I would have thought it would have been quieter tonight bc of the super bowl, but it was pretty busy! I even stayed late!
Ok, now I need to get some sleep. It is getting late and I need to get caught up on sleep still from being out so late last night.
