DINNER WITH KIM in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

strong textIt came as a pleasant surprise when I received an E Mail last Thursday evening from Kim, my granddaughter. She told me she was coming u-p from the Wilmington De area to NJ and wanted to know id I wanted to get together for a Saturday dinner. I was so happy for the invitation and quickly we finalized plans as to where and when. Then the crusher to put my nose slightly ( a tinnnney lil bit ) out of joint. We met at 6 pm and it was wonderfu7l both the food and the company. As I normally do ion a Sunday morning I attended an AA Meeting and today it was a celebration meeting. The first celebrant had 90 days and looked like a nice young man. The last had 17 years and she is one of my favorite women in AA. I have always thought about her beauty, grace and niceness that she is the nicest of the nice. She would be my choice of many to sleep with but my only choice of women to awaken with. She is so true a nice person. Small world and coincidences do happen but the young man's parents were in the audience an I recognized them. The woman was Cindy's Maid of Honor at our wedding. All of us were surprised to see each other there and made tentative plans to meet some evening . What a small world. My sponsor one told me that coincidences were God's way to remain anonymous.
