It is always so exciting to open the mailbox & see that hot bubble pink mailer staring back at me! I could barely contain myself until I got a chance to sit down and open it! :)

After all who doesn't love surprises??!

This subscription has been by far one of the best ones yet!! I feel the $10.00 a month I spend is totally worth every penny!! I barely get to shop for myself at all so knowing that once a month I am going to receive a package with 4-5 beauty products inside the package it just THRILLS me!! It's also fun to receive make up & products that I've never heard of & wouldn't have tried otherwise mad props to Ipsy for creating such an awesome idea for all of us beauty queens out there for sure!!!

Ipsy

is a subscription beauty service that cost $10/month, & as I mentioned last month you get 4-5 deluxe sample or full size beauty products (makeup, nail polish, lotion, hair product, etc.) to try out! Each month arrives in its own "cute" make up bag that you can then reuse for a purse bag, or whatnot!

The value of everyone's bag varies, but mine, and most others I've seen, are generally valued between $30-40... Occasionally I have seen mention of them being over $50!

Please follow my ipsy link to sign up for your ipsy bag! Sometimes there's a waiting list, but you can generally bypass this by spamming your FB just once telling everyone you signed up. ;) You can also keep watch on the Ipsy FB page & a lot of times people are asking "how to sign up" and you can leave them your "direct link" and or Private Message them! You also earn Ipsy points for doing reviews, having friends sign up, and buying your bags & those points can then be traded in for a beauty item! :)

For the next few bags they are featuring bags created by artists who submitted their work & then Ipsy had their masterpieces turned into "bags". This months bag was really cute!!!

Contents are as follows:

Nyx Love in Rio eyeshadow trio in "Bikini Bottom Parfait Bikini"

Value: $6.00 - Full size.

I was secretly bummed I didn't received the "Be a Bombshell palette" as I already have soooo many neutrals I was kind of hoping for a funky one to play with. But... you get what the bag gives based on your quiz results! It will work though!

Chella liquid eyeliner in Indigo.

Value: $24 This was actually a FULL SIZE item!

"Hello Straight Line to Loveliness! This silky eyeliner glides on to define, emphasize and embolden with long lasting vibrant color that stays on until you want it gone! Beautiful!"

On the website for Chella it's listed as non-feathering, smudge proof, and waterproof. I along with many others found the liner to feather and smudge.... I am not quite sure if its worth the $24.00 out of pocket. I am normally a black eyeliner kind of girl, unless I am using a color on my top/lower waterline to blend in with "a look" BUT when it comes to a FULL SIZE sample... I guess I can't complain! :)

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready

*Value: $7.50 - deluxe sample (full size: $18.00)

This is by far one of my favorite items!! I absolutely love the formular, and the pigmentation! It's awesome!! It's actually been my on the go lippy and has found a new home in my purse!!! It has great pigmentation on it's own, and if you are looking for a more natural look you can tone it down with a nude lippy or a lipgloss. For a deluxe sample, I feel it has quite a bit of product (I believe it's just a little under half that of a regular size), and it's such a cute little miniature! Perfect purse size.

Pix! Beauty Flawless Beauty Primer

Value: $9.00 - deluxe sample (full size: $22)

This is one of those "radiant" primers that's supposed to make your face look glow-y. I can tell there is a glow of radiance to my face, which is great because lets face it this is the end of winter beginning of spring and we are all white as ghosts! ;)

Oh, and I think it's also worth mentioning that I wouldn't really consider this a "deluxe sample." When I went to the website to get the value there's actually two buying options, for a smaller one and a larger one.

Verdict:

Total Value, excluding bag: $46.50

Both the bareMinerals lipstick and Pix! primer I am using regularly and loving, I am not sure if the Chella eyeliner & I will work out quite yet. The NYX seems to be great on the side of pigmentation and works great as a cheap but nice eye shadow just to put on when your in a hurry, touching up, or cleaning around the house and you don't really want to put on your "good stuff" if you know what I mean!!

All in all, I feel like the bag was a great value, I found myself using more from this months bag than last months thats for sure. And even though there were only 4 products this month, two were full size, one was practically full size and the other was a generous sample. I personally would rather get 4 full size/larger products than 5 small samples just my opinion. ;)
