I had a very nice weekend albeit a busy one with my Son Robert away. I did get to feed the Invisible Cat twice without any recognition from her or even a Meow of thanks.
Friday I was very busy at the Office and worked until 6 PM which is an hour later than normal. I met two other men from AA for dinner and then we went to an AA Meeting selected at random in our area.
Saturday after the Beginners Meeting I went in to the Office for an hour mainly to tie up loose ends. Next was food shopping and then on to the house. I cleaned and neatened inside the house and then moved outside into the yard. I got a lot done and was pleasantly tired. I watched a lot of basketball in the NCAA Tournament. I am currently in third place and very much alive in our pool.
Sunday was more of the same except my Son and DIL returned from their trip. I went over to their house about 6 PM bearing pizza and I was treated to the trip tales and how happy Kelly, my granddaughter is with the results. She and her fiancée will do their residencies at the same venue, Georgetown, in the place where they went to Medical School.
This was a basic low key weekend and I was quite content. I managed to get deep into a Kellerman novel, Killer. It is very well written.
