Second verse, same as the first... in 2020

Forgive me if I’m repeating myself. Everything is so much the same that I can’t remember what I’ve written here and what I haven’t!

Schools are out until at least April 24 now, and probably for the rest of the school year (some states have confirmed that, just not ours). Teachers are busting their asses to put content online for their students, my kids are pretty good about staying on top of things but I still worry for kids that don’t have the resources we do.

Speaking of resources, I did our weekly grocery shop today. They had most of what I needed, though still no paper towels or toilet paper to be found. Fortunately we aren’t in dire straits yet in that department. My kids are eating me out of house and home, but honestly they mostly just eat snacks. I do make them eat a proper dinner (almost) every day though.

We played Jackbox TV games with the kids last night and it was actually quite fun. Might do it again tonight. I have an absurd amount of board games as well, but Rob doesn’t care for board games (though I suspect he’d like some of the strategy games if he gave them a try) and I don’t have the patience to be the only adult in a game with two bickering middle schoolers.

I’m mostly okay on a day to day basis, but whenever I watch the news or read too much on FB I get bogged down and start feeling stressed about never knowing when this will end. Which reminds me, it’s probably time for a glass of wine.

Dude, the Jackbox games are SO much fun. Which ones did you do?!
I definitely, a thousand percent, suck at the drawing one.

We did Drawful (at which I am also terrible), Lieswatter, and Fibbage.

I saw TP on amazon. Its the amazon house brand, it was about 20 bucks for 24 double or triple rolls. I've ordered it a few years ago, its soft.

Do you have sequence? My aunt who doesn't like board games, loved that one. Rob might like it. You'd have to play with the kids though, its for 4ppl I think.
