I have my second chemo treatment tomorrow. Whee. I'm a bit anxious but I think it should go OK if the first treatment was any indication. And it's outpatient so I get to go home once it's done. Yay!
I spoke with the financial aid guy at school on Friday. Money stuff is confusing but as I technically have 9 graded credits for this semester, that's full time for vet school, so I don't have to worry about problems with my health insurance. However, since it is technically full time, I'm also not eligible for a partial tuition reimbursement as we only pay for 9 credits and any after that are free. Unfortunately, that means I'll likely be paying the full tuition rate as I'll be taking more than 9 credits when I return to finish up this semester next year. It sucks, but it's all hypothetical loan money, anyway, and, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't add that much more to my ridiculous student loan debt. More importantly, I don't have to worry about health insurance, which I care about more than student loan BS :)
I've really been enjoying my walks around the neighborhood lately. The weather conditions have been right to produce that really crinkly ice that shatters in an incredibly satisfying manner when stepped on. I've been stomping on so much of it and it's so much fun! And I like the idea of people staring at me, Aaron and mum while we're walk-stomping and wondering what the hell is wrong with the three of us.
Today, I was watching reruns of Top Gear and, in one episodes, they were doing some kind of car vs aquatic thingy race around Lake Como in Italy. It was so beautiful there!

So gorgeous! If I ever vacation in Italy, it's definitely on my list of places to check out!
I'm once again surrounded by three, small, crazy doggies and Nemma is farting some more, of course. How cozy...
