This was our second week of school at home. It has gotten more organized. At first I was concerned about how the kids would do with distance learning. While it is a big transition, the school has done well with keeping the kids connected. It won’t be a normal end to their first and last years of high school, but I think they will get something meaningful out of it. Right now the schools are closed until at least April 20th. Some states have already closed schools through the end of the year, so we will see what happens.

The kids have assignments each day they have to turn in. They have had zoom meetings for some of their classes.

I have tried to be better about eating healthy and exercising this week. Last week was my birthday, so I figure that didn’t count. I was taking martial arts lessons. Lately I have been taking long walks. I am thinking I will stick with that for now since it seems to be working well.

The twins have been going off by themselves in the car. We have talked with them about social distancing and hand washing. There are a few friends they have been to see and sometimes they get take-out.
