Pain in Everything and Nothing

All of these memories cling like hot grease
Nothing feels good anymore
Compassion never got me anything

Depression is my enemy
But at least it’s always here for me
The cycle hurts
What have I done

Pain pain pain
This hurts, Your words hurt
I crave the silence
Cold is deaths hand
I love her touch

Depression is my enemy
Wheel in motion constantly
Behind these eyes
Constant friction

When will I let all of this go
This doesn’t feel good anymore
I bite down hard with grief
This pain seeps out of me

Depression my salvation
The pain is all I have left
I try to let go, but I miss it
Depression my enemy
Cold hands that wont let go of me
I feed it desperately
