i drank eighty ounces of water saturday and felt like i was floating. it kept me full and of course constantly having to use the facilities but things in that area have literally cleared up (not to be TMI). i've all but cut caffeine completely out but i'll admit i really wanted something fizzy so i had a very tiny amount at work earlier.

my coworker has decided he will help me keep in check with what i'm eating and drinking while we're both there. i appreciate his help; it gives me another reason to commit. he understands when no one else does. i'm sure it's questioned how close we are and people will wonder... i don't care. he and i have been close for a long time and if that make people uncomfortable, they need something else to worry about. we know each other very well... so well that often we don't even have to speak, we just trade a look that the other absolutely understands. i trust him more than anyone else there.

if the game friday wasn't scheduled so dang late i would totally suggest we go somewhere and eat and watch it... but getting off at 7-8p and waiting til probably 10p to watch til at least 1ish? that's a long and late night considering we have to be back at work the next morning. we'll probably end up chatting during the game anyway from our homes. basketball and sports in general bring out my taste in junk food but i'm doing a lot better. like tonight i bought a bag of cheese chex mix and portioned it into individual servings as per the nutrition label. i think portion control will definitely help me.
