Freedom of Expression in Life After 60

One never gives much thought to their rights until someone opposes them. And many of them are under attack today. Freedom of expression refers to the ability of an individual or group of individuals to express their beliefs, thoughts, ideas, and emotions about different issues free from government censorship.
And there is the rub! I do not support some of the expressions that are being so freely promoted. But I am reminded that you may not like some of mine. But where do we draw the line between what is right and what is wrong?
We are governed by a simple majority. (and the majority of them are SIMPLE) But it is those rights that allow me to disagree with some. But when we want to rewrite history because this monument offends some, we have crossed the line. Offended by a Confederate Statute? Don’t live in the South. Don’t want to celebrate Martin Luther King day? Then if you are a government employee don’t take the day off with pay.
Folks, you can not have it both ways. And while those idiots in the NFL continue to kneel at the National Anthem, NASCAR does it right! But NASCAR is a Southern tradition, so I am sure that alone offends some. Freedom of Expression, may she live long.

I have noticed that since the Colon dude started the kneeling that more and more of the NFL players have started professing their faith. So in his obnoxiousness, God has used it for good. And the guy still can't get a job (because he is really only an average player and not a really good one).

I haven't really kept up with him. And I don't watch any professional sports, just because they are all overpaid. But that's just my opinion. I guess I need to retract that. I will watch NASCAR and Professional Bull Riding. Dang, I lied.

I have always thought NASCAR was boring. Just my opinion. And Professional Bull Riding. That is good.

NASCAR? Where else can you see grown men, drive in a circle at 200+ MPH, act like children on bumper cars, and get mad when they knock you off the track? It's not the racing, it's the crashes!!! And Randy Newman had a rough ride Monday night.
