I Haven’t Typed a Title

I work for free, and only look for play that pays,
so I can keep up appearances
by continuing to work.

I am a better fighter than a lover,
but I don’t love to fight; unless I am fighting for love,
which I always hate having done.

Flying is my favorite way to travel,
unless I can walk, at least until my
feet get tired.
Then I flag down a ride,
but only take it if the driver is a pilot
on his way to the airport.

I write deep, moving prose which are
cleverly disguised as rambling verse;
cloaking profound revelation in
trite and witty contradiction.
