Well we all have some kind of special talent right? I mean we can tie a cherry stem with our tongue or sing. Some of us could dance or just have talent of being weird. I’d love to hear your secret talent, and while you tell me yours I’ll tell you mine.
Singing is my special talent. How did I figure that was my hidden talent? Well when I was 10 years old my mom started dating this guy MM. When my mom started dating MM we started going to a church that was near his place. This was a small church that use to be a liquor store. So there was no choir and the congregation was maybe 20 people at the most on a good day. One day the preacher asked if I would sing, because when I was 3 i took tap, jazz, and ballet. While I danced I also sang. So I did I was excited, and the first song I sang was “Jesus Take The Wheel” by Carrie Underwood. After that one time I kept practicing, and I sang every Sunday and sometimes Wednesday. I use to sing 2-3 songs every Wednesday morning, and “Jesus Take The Wheel” was the pastors favorite.
Eventually after so long I started singing at other churches, weddings, funerals, and even sang a song when someone got their new house blessed. This was probably my happiest days as a child. Singing made me feel like all my worries and pain went away. However, I stopped singing, because something later on happens in my life that causes me to loose passion and greatness.
