Something is going on here at PB. It is now showing that entries I've read are now "unread". LOTS of blue "unread" boxes have appeared and I don't like it at all. I have read them, but not been leaving notes all the time. Still, glad PB is here until.............
Since my last entry a lot of things have happened. Not sure that I'll get them all remembered, but this will be a start and possibly an end to my memories for the last few days.
o Brother in law did get fired
o Brother in law's niece is planning on buying the business on 1 April, and she plans on my BIL being the manager
o BIL and sister have not found another place to live in business town yet, but still need to pack and move their stuff from WI to MO by end of this month
o The lack of follow up and follow through from both of them drives me crazy!!
o Dad's BP has been low so I've been contact with his VA Primary Care Dr's nurse
o I took his BP meds out of his medicine taking box and informed VA and they were good with that for now. I will monitor his BP and if it starts reading too high I will add one BP med at a time back into his medicine taking routine. *Sigh
o Dad needs to drink a LOT more water
o Dad thinks if he drinks more water, then he'll have to go to the bathroom more often so is resistant to this. The dehydration causes lots of problems for him to include weakness, dizziness, disorientation which in turn gets a trip to the ER which ER staff always hook him up to intervinious (sp) fluids. *sigh
o I received an early birthday present from my cousin on Tuesday evening. A blank shooting little pistol. I had mentioned that if I could shoot out my vehicle window while my dogs were chasing my vehicle than I could possibly break them from chasing cars. Sooooo..........he have me a gun that shoots blanks only and a box of 100 blanks. I am SOOOO excited and used it that very night. It worked for the moment with the big dog, Polka Dot, but the 3 legged boarder collie, didn't flinch. I'll try again later. And that info my friends is how I got the title. ;)
o I am tired. I'm physically tired, mentally tired, and just tired. I need some "me" time and not seeing that happening for a while. I really want to sew and almost forgot to mention that I did make daughter two stylist's aprons a couple of weeks ago. My sister and BIL were here, but daughter really needed a new one, and once I got started I decided to make her a second one. She was thrilled and I was very happy that I found the pattern that I had made several months ago. I put it in a spot that I'll hopefully remember when I need to make her another one.
I do have more to drone on about but I will not at this time. We had an eighty degree day on Tuesday and it was WONDERFUL!! Yesterday the temps dropped back down, but today it got in the upper 60s. Come on Spring, you can do it and we all need you!!
