Well, these days have been weird. She still has her vacation, so she's been sitting at home and the daily routine is not exactly going as normal. Seems I'm doing better at my Quest to Learn German by my regular reading is not doing super. I'm just reading one chapter of Peter the Great: His Life and World a day.
So I saw Her on Tuesday in the cinemas. There were like only 3 other people there, not counting the one that walked out though it was pretty early. Strange film though the ending didn't quite satisfy me. An issue that is never addressed in the film is that Theodore never questions whether Samantha is "real" or is it just all code and an illusion of a personality. It had this weird colorfulness.
One thing I don't like about Massie's Peter the Great is its anti-religious sentiments. He pretty much just says the Orthodox Church was what kept Russia backwards.
And in my Bible reading today we finished the First Book of Moses. In roughly a monthish.
Next week I think I'll see Miniscule: The Valley of Lost Ants. I wanted to see Lone Survivor but it's not going on a good time for me. Maybe next week... after that.
