It’s too cold. Much winter. Supposed to warm up in the next few days, thankfully.

New Doc (Dr. H) and I bonded over our dysfunctional tendencies and anxiety today. We talked about our desire to basically hibernate all winter (and the rest of the year aside from 3 nice days in summer, but the sun from those days would give us migraines so we would have to return to being cave people), our anxiety, how we never have pleasant dreams-just anxiety ones (we both have a lot of zombie dreams), how we’re happy we can function enough to work but we pretty much fail at other humaning, our lack of many friends, how confusing it would be to be a conjoined twin, if either of us ended up on meds for anxiety/depression we’d have to tell the other what that was like, and more. We laughed so much and and decided it counted as therapy :P I’m really like her and am glad we convinced her to work with us after her externship last year. It’s nice having someone I can be that honest with and who has a frightening number of the same quirks and issues I have.

In vague news, we had the biggest clusterfuck of a situation re: impound animals at work and thankfully it got resolved but it made me so happy I was not involved and am not a manager.

The thing that's always really baffled me about conjoined twins is when they get married... and then have kids. Like... how does the actual babymaking work? Does the other twin close his eyes and plug his ears? Do they just have open relationships?

That is COMPLETELY the conversation we were having. Specifically, how it would work for these ladies: https://allthatsinteresting.com/abby-and-brittany-hensel-conjoined-twins

Also, found this article when looking those two up: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2012/10/the-sex-lives-of-conjoined-twins/264095/
