One of my loyal readers challenged me yesterday to post something positive each day in November so without further ado, here is the first positive post. ( + ) And there you have it, LOL, hey I have to have fun with it as well. But to their point here goes.
Laughter really is good for you. And a merry heart does good like a medicine. Folks, we have so much hate and disregard for life in the world that somedays it is difficult to find some good. Smile, it doesn’t cost you anything and uses fewer facial muscles.
Take time to just listen to someone, I mean really listen. This month we here in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving. And I have much to be thankful for. 4 years ago the 3rd of this month I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. And by the hand of God, I was found to be cancer-free the following January, 2 months later without any medical intervention. 7 years ago I survived 2 heart attacks within 6 days of each other. Thankful yes, blessed indeed.
Regardless of your personal circumstances, you can find someone who is worse off than you. This afternoon I had to deliver a message to a sweet elderly lady that her sister was just diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Not the way I pictured my afternoon going. But it was a reminder that I have much to be thankful for and the month of November won’t be enough to share them all.
