Adding new computers to one of the campus classrooms, (I), yes, you read that correctly, I (Douglas Kinney) hook up the computer with skill and precision, tested and signed off working correctly. Move on to the next job. Install two more computers, called to Middle School for a computer issue there. Phone rings, “Doug, Mrs. (Name withheld to protect the innocent) is having major computer issues with her computer. :( It’s a new computer, really? So, back to the first computer, I installed this morning…Issue, no internet on student computer, and the Smartboard which is installed on the NEW TEACHER computer works except for when the teacher writes on the smartboard, it shows up on the OLD computer— :( Close look reveals on the internet issue, cord is not connected real good to the wall..no biggie, just knock loose. Now, onto the major issue. How can you have a smartboard hooked up to a NEW COMPUTER and it displays correctly, but yet when you write on it, it is showing up on the OLD COMPUTER? Figured out the problem Post Haste. TBD, yes, instead of PICNIC it was TBD, Tech Brain Dead! I put the smartboard cable in the back of the wrong computer....Okay get off the floor and stop laughing
