It's the end of day 4 this week of perfect eating (within my calories) and exercising since Thursday mornings are my weigh in day. I'm excited to see how much I'll lose this week since I'm finally back on track after screwing up most of February. I've been forcing myself to eat healthier stuff like bananas, grapes, hard boiled eggs when I want a snack instead of my usual inclination to munch on some crackers or other kind of carbs. We don't eat meat every night here so I always have hard boiled eggs on hand for a snack and for Cody at lunch.
We decided to take Cody to a huge playcentre nearby today. It was only $5 and the place turned out to be huge (we haven't been in 1.5 yrs...we normally go in the summer to swim in their wave pool and go on their slides). Mike and I took turns chasing Cody and holding Miles. 2.5 hrs later we had to entice Cody to leave with the promise of ice cream. He cried when he realized that meant we were leaving. I was starving by that point. Cody and I shared a cone which was so yummy. Haven't had ice cream in forever! Then we took the kids home, put them in bed and I had a short nap too. I didn't really notice much difference from the time change. Wonder when the kids will wake up tomorrow.
